Poor Baby

After another day playing with the VA, it's time for some news. The good news is that the VA Hospital in Durham, NC, did an EEG and have determined that I do, in fact, have a brain. The bad news was that it belings to "Abbie - someone".

Meanwhile, looking at the news online I see where some of the sex offenders are starting to jack up over the residency rules some areas are starting to enforce. In many municipalities, they can't live within so far of schools, playgrounds or parks. Ain't dat a real bitch?

I understand that some of these sleezeballs have a wife and kids, and they need to find a home the same as everyone else - but if you got caught trolling for little kiddies - or any underage kids - well, no one did this to you. You did it to yourself and your family. Is it right that your wife and kids should have to pay for your offense? You f'kin damn skippy it is! If you don't like the payback for the crime, too f'kin bad - you did it to your own damn self.

About that rookie for the '49ers who dies after their game at Denver over the weekend - sorry, but I see this as a real "no shitter". No, he shouldn't have died and I have nothing but honest sympathy for his family - BUT. These "kids" - in their early 20's or so - are physical freaks. Six foot and over 300 pounds? Go ahead - convince me that's normal. And these guys have to be that big or the NFL won't even look at them come draft day. Meanwhile, these guys are getting heavier and heavier, without any advance in their skeletal system and no changes in anything but their muscle and fat mass, and more of them are going to die. I'm just surprised that this hasn't happened more often than it has so far. Anyone disagree with me?
