Pouting Mercenaries

Sixteen American former "private security guards" are claiming that they were captured, held and badly mistreated - "tortured" you might say - by some United States Marines in Iraq.

By what these mercs are saying, it's all because the Marines were jealous about the amount of money the mercs were getting paid.

Now, I wasn't there so I don't know the fact or fiction of their claim, but I do know that no one I have known who served in the United States Marine Corps was ever motivated to serve because of the paycheck. Of course every group of people have their share of shitbirds, so the story could be true - but then again these mercs could be the shitbirds trying to sue the government for a fat multi-million payday.

The story they're telling sounds like it's straight out of Abu Grihab, with a female present taking pictures of the "torture".

This is being investigated by the USMC, DoD and DoJ, so if there is any truth to the claims it will be blasted across the MSM. Of course, should these investigating bodies find the story is so much horseshit, we will never hear about it again.
