Point Scoring

So - Karl Rove is in the shit. As was explained by some Dem talking head, IF he did this and IF he did that and If ... ... well, they he must be fired and have his security clearance revoked. Joe Wilson apparently doesn't give a shit if Rove did anything wrong or not - He hopped up to the microphone to demand everything but Rove's head on a stick.

The really impressive part of that was, while you could see Chuckie Shumer's hand up Wilson's ass, you could barely see his lips move.

Now, I couldn't care less about Rove, his job or his clearance. If he's guilty (appears doubtful) then hang his ass. Simple. I'm not a Republican anyway.

What I haven't yet figured out is where this righteous indignation was when Sandy Berger was helping himself to the National Archive's documents? Where was this righteous indignation when Hillary's billing records magically appeared? How about when Clinton had those 900 FBI files? Or when the White House Travel Office was purged?

The same people who have been trashing this nation for years and supplying our enemies with hope have suddenly wrapped the flag around themselves because they see a chance to score political points. Well, the real world doesn't give a damn about points - not when we should be showing the world a united stance on terror and the religion that demands it.
