Europe and the United States
I just finished reading Mark Steyn's article in the Sunday Chicago Sun-Times where he talks about how Great Britain is actually lucky that the terrorists on 7/7 only planted four bombs. Is there any doubt that if they had planted 30 that they would have gotten away with that as well? What's to stop them?
Here in the U.S., the terrorists on 9-11 tried for four planes and got all four. They planted the bombs in Madrid that wern't found until they went off and they were 100% successful in London.
Is there any doubt that, should they want to hit us again, there's nothing to stop any terrorists who are dedicated enough from blowing up targets or taking and murdering any hostages they'd care to try for?
The United States and a few other countries are actively trying to take the fight to the terrorists, but our fears of being thought biased or politically incorrect have neutralized any of our attempts to be proactive about terrorism here at home. Instead, we must react to the terrorist acts which will come as a shock and surprise.
The only action really being taken is the TSA's laughable "security" checks at the airports. Our borders are porous, Whabbi schools and mosques teach and forment hate, our prisons are Muslim recruiting grounds and public elementary and high schools across the country are making the reading of the Koran mandatory while insisting that it's a "religion of peace".
Our "freedoms" are what have made us so vunerable. Taking back those "freedoms" that have been taken from us is the only way we will be able to defeat these cowards.
