On London

A wealth of information came out of England yesterday about those suspected of being the homicide bombers. FoxNews has thumbnail descriptions of the three named yesterday by London police. All were from middle class families and were either born in England or held British passports.

In the MSNBC story on this, there's a glaring error in their report - They list Kashmir as being south of Islamabad. Wrong. It's northeast. Things like that make me sceptical about the rest of their story; but to me the telling quote was from Mohammed Iqbal, a town councilor who represents the City-on-Hunslet section of Leeds: “This is not good for Muslims,” Iqbal said. “We have businesses here. There will be a backlash.”

Despite the attack that has taken the lives of over 50 Britons, the real worry is about a theoretical future ill-feeling? Read Steyn's article in the London Telegraph for his view of this - one that should be hammered into the head of every politician on both sides of the Atlantic.

As all of the terrorists in this were home grown, watching borders and checking passports were (in this case) a waste of time. There are thousands more in Great Britain and the United States who are able - and possibly willing - to do the same. We all help to indoctrinate, train, arm and point these murderers by allowing the Imams and Islamic schools to keep preaching hate. These "people" aren't teaching a false Islam, they're teaching the Koran as it is written.

As long as we tolerate them in our country we will continue to walk around with bulls-eyes on our backs.
