On the Minuteman Project
The coverage that the MSM is giving this is so damn tainted it's becoming laughable. For instance, here's the coverage from the Winston Salem Urinal:
Citizen patrol takes on illegal immigration in Arizona
Nice title - so far, so good.
TOMBSTONE, Ariz. - Closely watched by nervous
governments on both sides of the border, hundreds of anti-immigrant activists fanned out into the desert of southern Arizona yesterday, launching a self-styled citizen patrol to spot illegal immigrants sneaking into the United States.
"anti-immigrant activists"? How about people who believe in protecting this once-great nation from the millions of scumbags that come here illegally to cripple our hospitals, schools and welfare systems?
The 400 or so volunteers of what's known as the Minuteman Project got an enthusiastic send-off from U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., one of the nation's harshest critics of immigration policy.
Rep. Tancredo would be a harsh critic of our immigration policy if we had one, and the Federal government up to and including the president had the balls to back it up.
Tancredo dismissed critics who say the activists are taking the law into their own hands.
Standing in the Arizona desert with binoculars, a pad of paper and a radio is "taking the law into their own hands". Of course it is. And, naturally the AlQaeda Civil Liberties Union is on the side of the illegals, not America's.
Who would have expected any different?
