He Has Gone Home

I've never been a particularly religious person, but the life of the late John Paul II is one that has amazed me.

Picture being born in 1921 in the newly freed Poland. Before your 8th birthday your mother dies. He was 18 when his country was invaded by both the Nazis and the Stalinists, finally overrun by the Nazis then taken by the Soviet Union.

Yet he never lost his humor and his Humanity.

He was a good man.
