A Different Gun Law
I read this in the newspaper, so it must be true.
A judge in the Netherlands ruled that a 46 year old man who robbed a bank of the equivalent of US$8,400 can only be charged with US$6,100 of his haul.
The reason for the discrepancy?
It seems the judge allowed the man to deduct the US$2,300 cost of his gun, used in the robbery, as a "legitimate business expense".
Whatever happened to claiming that on your taxes?
