Danny Joe Brown, RIP

It's a sad day here in the South - and for fans of Southern Rock the world over.

Danny Joe Brown passed away yesterday from complications of diabetes. He was 53.

Danny was the lead singer for Molly Hatchet, known for "Gator Country", "Flirtin' With Disaster" and many other great screaming guitar songs.

He will be missed by this transplanted Northerner, I can tell you that.
