Mark Latham Concedes Defeat

John Howard has been elected for a fourth term in Australia. Thank God.

Had Mark Latham be elected, he promised to have every member of the Australian military home by Christmas. Following the attacks on Australians in Bali and Jakarta, Latham ran on the platform that Iraq is a mistake, Saddam should still be in power, and he'd pretty much cut all ties that Australia has with the United States.
