Kryptonite Finally Got Him.

As just about everyone has reported already, Christopher Reeves passed away over the weekend.

It's really sad to realize that you're older than Superman. He was 52.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but celebrities and sports figures who suddenly become activists on vested self-interest issues have never impressed me. Now, if Christopher Reeves had become a spokesperson for ALS or Breast Cancer, I would have been really impressed with his commitment. I feel the same way about those whose children, wives or siblings are similarly affested by injury or disease.

Now, if they were so commited that they were willing to dedicate their entire personal fortune towards those who were unfortunately struck BEFORE they got deeply involved in begging others on much lower incomes to support their personal tragedy, THEN I might consider their plight.
