For A Really Slow Evening
On October 11th, if you find yourself at loose ends and just don't know what to do, the Sundance Channel, owned and operated by that paragon of even-handedness Robert Redford, will be broadcasting a concert.
I understand there will be quite a few big names there - James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M. and many, many more.
This will be a live broadcast from Washington D.C. These elderly (and in some cases balding badly) rockers will be displaying their talents in a bid to instruct the young voters as to who they are to vote for, since the young are incapable of deciding for themselves.
"You'll vote for Kerry because I'm a ridiculously wealthy rock star."
Nah, that just doesn't sound right, does it?
