Is It My Imagination?

I see where another Amber Alert has been issued this morning for a 10 year old girl in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It seems like these abductions are becoming more and more prevalent.

I'd like to see a study done comparing the draconian laws relating to legal firearm possession to the rise of child abductions, rapes and murders. Especially on a state by state basis.

My whole extended family is getting to the point where kids go nowhere without an escort, when outside they play in the fenced back yard only, and as much as I detest the concept I'm thinking of getting the kids tagged like a Lo-Jack.

This really sucks, don't it?
