So Sue Me!
OK - I know I really shouldn't do this, but I was just reading the "letters" section of Mark Steyn's site when I came across this.
It was in response to several articles about "The Kerryness of Kerry":
IS HE NUTS?
I heard some of John Kerry’s hasty response to Prime Minister Allawi’s address, and I do believe that John Kerry has lost his mind. By what stretch of the imagination does the instability in 3 or 4 of 18 provinces invalidate an election?
When Abraham Lincoln stood for election to his second term, the states of the Confederacy comprised a considerably larger percentage of the United States. I think one could safely characterize them as “no-go zones” to Union forces. I doubt a single vote was cast, or at least counted, for the Presidency of the United States. Has anybody ever questioned the legitimacy of Lincoln’s second term? I didn’t think so.
J.P., Texas
I do believe this man is on to something.
