The Ugly European

In response to requests, Mark Steyn regularly publishes some of his past columns and it's uncanny how accurate most of these are several years later.

This bit of prose was written before 9/11 about our (lack of) relations with Europe - even before Olde Europe. For something written three years ago it looks as if it could have come out of yesterday's papers.
