What a Wonderful World

There's two things that I saw this morning - as much as I've been trying to avoid the news because of the politics, some things seep through.

The late Rev Fallwell is going to be buried in Virginia next Tuesday. It made me wonder - will the Good Rev Fred Phelps and his Band of Merry Makers show up to join the "celebrations"?

Also I caught a blast from the past. After about two years of general silence, I see that the University of Colorado is trying to decide if Ward Churchill (a Trivial Pursuit answer) should be punished - maybe suspended for a year instead of dismissal. Since Churchill has already shown himself a liar, a plagiarizer and all-around asswipe, does anyone really give a shit about him anymore?
