I see where Sen Dodd (D-Conn) is holding his breath til he turns blue because Lockheed-Martin of Maryland won the contract to produce the new Marine One helicopters. Connecticut-based Sikorsky Aircraft had been producing these, and Dodd's chucking a tantrum over someone else getting some jobs.

Even Sens Clinton and Schumer are pissed with him over this. Dodd managed to get an attachment to a bill that's thrown all this down the shitter for the moment.

Unless someone can get the self-serving son of a bitch from Connecticut to back off and represent the people for a change, the old Marine One birds may be flying for a while.
