I'm Back

Last Thursday I went on a 'spur of the moment' road trip to see my Blogmother. It was a nice, relaxing long weekend at the Carolina coast, with many long conversations and mutual sympathy for our various aches and pains.

We watched the World's Largest Mosh Pit, otherwise known as Arafat's funeral. We also saw the Peterson verdict, where my Blogmother couldn't believe that I couldn't give a rat's ass what the verdict was. Big deal - some white guy kills his wife - how many Black or Hispanic murders went totally unreported during the same period?

Oh, and by beloved Bears won - in overtime - by a SAFETY!! Bloody amazing.

I'll get rested up and caught up on the state of the world, then I'll be here with my sick slant on the weird and wonderful.
