Smoking Really IS Bad For You!

It's always nice to have a little excitement in your life - this one I could have done without.

My daughter was working the graveyard shift last night at a gas station/convenience store. About 0200 no one was around, so she went outside for a smoke. While she was standing there, a goblin came up behind her and grabbed for her arm. She had on an oversized shirt, so all he got was sleeve. This seemed to irritate said goblin somewhat, so he threw a back fist at her that connected with my girl's right temple - she says the stars were really pretty.

She managed to get in a kick or two and must have connected with something important, because the goblin took off running. When the police showed up they even brought a dog to try to chase this prick down, but no luck. She got a good look at this turd though, so if they have her look thru the mug books she should be able to find a match.

Other than a concussion and a little blurred vision, my girl's OK - but she's giving serious thought to the benefits of a career change.
