Calif. Supreme Court - SanFran Mayor A Naughty Boy

"About a dozen gay and lesbian couples, some wearing wedding dresses and tuxedos, waited for the decision on the steps of the Supreme Court building. Some began to cry when Molly McKay of Marriage Equality California read that their marriages would be voided."

So ended one of the more bizarre episodes in San Francisco history - at least for the moment. Yesterday the California Supreme Court, in two separate decisions, decided that Mayor Gavin Newsom not only overstepped his authority but that his actions could have formented anarchy; the second decision declared the homosexual "marriages" that took place as a result of the Mayor's disregard for the law were null and void - and in law had never taken place.

I'm waiting for the 9th District Court to decide to get involved in this one!
