It's A Wonderful Day In The Neighborhood!

Today's been a Red Letter Day here at the old homestead. My eldest granddaughter, who's seven, managed to swim by herself for the first time today - no kickboard, no floats - nothing!

We have a 16' diameter pool in the yard and she's been messing around in it all summer, but Today Is The Day!

Needless to say, grandpa and grandma are just pleased as punch about this, and there are many sore hands from the high-fives all around! A real confidence test has been passed.
